Aetna Pulling out of ACA - What It Means from a Cyber Perspective

On 16 August 2016, Open Source Research identified the Aetna Health Care agency is pulling out of 70% of their health care coverage under the Affordable Health Care Act (ACA).  Three health care providers have recently pulled segments of coverage out of the ACA, leaving many without proper health care coverage for 2017.  Wapack Labs believes this will lead directly to cyber activity targeting Aetna, either from a hacking perspective or social media outcry; i.e:  a turn in public sentiment and create the motivation and opportunity for political activists and hackers to target these companies; company officials; and/or health care subsidiaries.  We are providing this information for your situational awareness.
